Valentine's Day Special, Part 2

Blackfire giggles, and scoots onto your lap.

"Silly Saffire," she teases, "we can still try between now and then. But only at night, of course."

"Of course."

You wrap your arms around her, and give little kisses to her neck. She changes the channel on the television to a movie channel, and it happens to be playing a Romance movie.

"Oh~! I recognize this one!" she says. "It's so sweet, it's about a spoiled heiress running away from her family. She is helped by a man who's actually a reporter looking for a story. But then he falls in love with her and helps her get away, if I remember correctly."

"Hmm, 'spoiled heiress'? Is that anything like 'criminal princess'?"

"Ha ha," she "laughed", understanding that you're talking about her. "But you have a point, you did help me out, and because of my beauty and charm, you couldn't help but fall in love with me."

"Very true," you admit. "But you fell for me to, which does happen in this movie, yes?"

"Oh yes," she says. "But not from being stuck with him in a tiny escape pod."

You and Blackfire chuckle as you kiss her on the neck again.


A few days pass, with the two of you 'trying to make the baby' every other night, without any results.

"Don't worry so much," Blackfire says, noticing your worry. "It may just not be the right time yet."

"But it's been months!" you point out. "How hard is it to... 'sew the seeds'?"

"I don't know," she said, awkwardly playing with the blanket. "My mother never told me about that kind of stuff..."

You lie back, and think.

"Could it be... me?"

"No, don't say that!" Blackfire says as she comforts you with stroking a hand across your chest. "It isn't either of our faults, it's just nature! We need to keep trying."

Blackfire gets on top of you, and smiles.

"Ready for another try?"

You smile softly and nod. You take hold of her hips, and the two of you "start up the Love Machine" again. You go all night until you two are panting and sweating, Blackfire's long hair stuck to her face and back. It's about 3:00AM when the two of you finally fall asleep, wrapped in each other's arms.
