Wake up Call

"Alright, everyone!" Cyborg shouts. "Time to wake up!!"

You sit up with a heavy head. There is barely any light coming through the windows yet. It must be dawn.

"Blackfire," you say as you nudge her. "Come on, time to build the house."

Her only response is a grunt as she buries herself deeper into the covers.

You dig out and carry your stubborn, sleepy wife to the main room and see Starfire and Flashfire walking out slowly, rubbing their eyes and yawning.

"Good to see you're awake," Cyborg greets as the four of you enter together. "Take a few minutes to have a simple breakfast and maybe some coffee, then meet in the hangar for take off."

Everyone else grumbles as they make their way over to the kitchen.

Beastboy puts bread into the toaster, Raven makes coffee, and Robin fries up some eggs as the rest of you try to wake up.

You stand Blackfire up on her feet, her grumbling the whole time.

"I'm the Birthday girl," she whines, "can't you guys make it without me?"

"If you help," you say, "it'll be done faster, and you can furnish it sooner."

After Raven pours herself a cup, you pour two, one for you and one for Blackfire. You hurry back as you take a sip.

"Here," you say, handing her the second cup. "It'll wake you up."

She takes it in her hands and sips.

"It's good," she says.

After about five minutes, Cyborg leads everyone to their hangar. The Titans get inside their special ship as the doors open.

*WHOOSH* You, Blackfire, and Flashfire take off ahead of them as their ship powers up.

*WOOOSH* The Titans take off, and follow after you.
