Shopping for Furniture

You fly to a state known as "Wyoming." On the maps you've seen, it is just a square.

There is only one store you find that sells furniture. It is named, "Furniture".

You and the girls go in and see that their selection is a bit sparse. So long as they have a dining table, chairs, and a couch or two, you're fine.

"Hello," a female employee greets, "may I help you?"

"Yes," you say, pulling out the Earth American money you had earned over the last few months. "What could I get with this?"

"T-two hundred thousand dollars?!" she stammers, getting a look at your wads of cash.

"Yes," you say again. "I need a dining table, with at least four chairs, as well as a couch, and a bed, if you have them."

"Well, w-we don't have beds here," she stammers again. "But I think we have some good dining tables over here."

She guides you over to a nice little selection of tables and chairs. Blackfire and Starfire study them over, talking about which one would be best for your home.

It takes a moment for them to decide on one. They choose a simple, rectangular table with padded chairs. Not bad, it will definitely work in your rainbow kitchen.

"On to couches!" Blackfire declares.

The three of you walk towards the living room furniture as the employee signals to some others. Understandably, this is the showroom model, so the others go into a back room and find another just like it that they can give you.

There are several couches to choose from. Some are long, some are leather, some have flowery patterns.

"I'd prefer something without flowers," you tell Blackfire. "A bit much for our colorful house, wouldn't you agree?"

"Fine," she says. "We'll go with solid colors."

"Perhaps a blue couch?" Starfire asks. "Since it is the color of Saffire's hair and eyes."

"Ooh~~!" Blackfire's eyes widen. "Yes! Or a purple couch, like my eyes."

"Well," the female employee says, "we have quite a few different purple and blue couches to choose from."

She lines up quite a few couches side by side, and you three compare. After a minute, you decide on a favorite.

The three of you go with the long L-shaped couch with the circular foot rest.

"Plenty of seats for everyone," Blackfire says.

Again, the employee signals to the others and they go find a duplicate in the back.

About fifteen minutes later, they have wrapped up all parts of the dining set and the special couch. You pay the employees, and the girls pick up the couch and table.

The female employee is shocked, her eyes wide and mouth agape as the girls carry out the furniture with ease.

*WHOOSH* The three of you fly all the way back to your island in the Carribean.
