"Good work, everyone," Transgression says. "With our victory over them leaving Clamhawk dead, those Hunters should give up their quest for revenge against Saffire of Tamaran."
"But, sir," Axerod speaks up. "Wouldn't the new leader just continue that agenda?"
"I doubt it~!" Wa squeals. "After being beaten so badly by us, I don't think the Hunters will want to even think about it!"
"Well put, Wa," Transgression compliments. "Now, we are free to go about our business. You are dismissed."
Transgression ceases communications, and his ship flies away towards no particular planet. Axerod does the same, and his ship flies away at a different direction. Wa nods to her pilot, and their ship takes off towards their original destination, Planet Kaching, to buy some necessities.
Knowing it will be some time before they arrive, Wa takes a look around at her crew. Big and muscular Mangle is busy napping on the plush couch to her right, and female pilot Aerial is busy... piloting.
Quiet and reserved, Zan stands nearby, not busy with anything. He was always so quiet and laid-back, even when they first met. Wa was always active, and couldn't help but want to spend time with such a still and peaceful guy like him.
She smiles and gets out of her seat, walking over to Zan.
"Zan Cutie," she says with a cute voice, "let's have something to eat. We haven't eaten since we got up."
Zan nods, and the two walk together to the kitchen.
"Zan, what would you like to eat?"
Zan shrugs, not responding verbally.
"Zan, I've told you before," Wa giggles, "it's easier if you answer me verbally."
Zan blushes and nods, then clears his throat.
"I'd like... whatever you'd like," he answers in his soft, smooth voice.
"Oh, okay," Wa says cheerfully.
Wa grabs some bread and some meat, and puts them out on a table.
"We'll have sandwiches!" she declares.
Quickly, Wa makes two sandwiches with four slices of meat each, and hands Zan one. Together, captain and crew member sit at a little table in the kitchen.
Zan moves the cloth from his mouth, and takes a bite of the sandwich. Wa also takes a bite, watching Zan closely. Wa swallows before speaking again.
"Zan, when we get to Kaching, maybe we should buy you a new one of those."
Zan looks at Wa eye-to-eye.
"What do you mean?"
"I mean your special mouth cloth. Isn't it getting a little tattered?"
Zan looks at his cloth, and thinks for a moment.
"It does have some frayed areas," he admits. "But do you really think--?"
"Then it's decided!" Wa exclaims. "We'll buy you a brand new scarf!"
"Wa, we--"
"Oh, Zan Cutie, don't worry!" Wa interupts. "It doesn't mean we'll get rid of the older one, I just want you to have another one you can wear."
Wa smiles as she takes another bite of her sandwich, her legs swinging and kicking under the table.
Zan blushes again, and he takes another bite.
