Quite the Discovery

You follow after Blackfire and Raven as they take a trek into the island's jungle.

"This was a good choice," Raven says. "There's so much space left over behind the house."

Seagulls caw overhead as the sun shines through the trees. The girls tip toe over a fallen trunk.

"Wonder what did that," you say as you step over it.

"There aren't giant animals on this island," Blackfire says. "At least, we didn't see any from up in the air."

"I doubt it," Raven assures. "WHOA!"

*WOOMF* Raven falls and hits the ground.

"Raven!" Blackfire says, kneeling down to check on her. "What happened?"

"I tripped on something." Raven and Blackfire inspect her feet and the area around it.

You look down to see something poking out of the ground.

"This might've done it," you say as you crouch to examine it. "Not enough of it is visible."

You grab hold of the thing as best as you can, and pull on it.

"It won't budge!!" you growl, still pulling.

"Let me try," Raven says, standing up. "Azarath, Metrion, ZINTHOS!!"

The little bit that is sticking out of the ground turns black, surrounded by Raven's energy. Raven waves her arms up, and the ground around the mystery object rumbles.

*KSSHH CRUMBLE CRUMBLE* The dirt falls off the thing as Raven finally pulls it out.

"Wait," Raven says, setting it down. "What is this thing?"

"I don't really know," Blackfire says. "I have never seen something quite like it. Saffire, do you recognize what it is?"

The mystery object is made of shining silver, and large enough for two of you to sit on. It is curved on top and flat on the bottom, with an oblong horn of sorts on one end. Or perhaps it was meant to be a tail?

"I do recognize it," you say. "It is a one of a kind item, thought to be lost in space."
