Special: Nuh, Part 2

Winter comes soon enough, and Nuh hurries to the Amore Shack with Yoh, Han, Tek, Res, and Dis.

"Hurry, Nuh, get the blankets!" Yoh orders. "Tek, you and Han start a fire while I get the hot water going."

Everyone hurries, urgently preparing the group for the Winter. Since Mauvians need heat to power their bodies, and thereby survive, Winter is a dangerous time of year for all, young and old.

Nuh returns to the Fireplace room with several large, purple, wooly blankets. The boys have started a roaring fire, and the hot water is being heated on the small stove.

Everyone wraps themselves in a blanket as they huddle in front of the fire. Nuh and Yoh snuggle up as close to their boyfriends as they can while still inside the blankets.

"Here, Nuh," Han says, opening his blanket up. Nuh wiggles inside, and Han wraps his arms and blanket around his lovely girlfriend.

"You, too, Yoh," Tek says, doing the same for his girlfriend.

Res and Dis do the same for each other, the two huddled face to face.

A moment later, the kettle blows steam, meaning the water is boiling. Someone must pour it into mugs.

Everyone looks at the boiling water, then at each other. After a few moments of staring, Nuh "bravely" ventures away from the warmth of the fire and her boyfriend to the stove.

She sticks her hand out of the blanket and into an oven mit. She grabs the kettle and pours plenty of water into each of the cocoa mugs.

"I can only grab two at a time," she says as she puts the mit away. "Can someone help me?"

Han hurries to his lover's side, and takes two mugs to the group. He hands them to Res and Dis, then hurries back for the last two. He and Nuh walk back together, and Han hands his two to Yoh and Tek. Nuh and Han sit down, Nuh giving Han one of the two mugs she had been holding. All together, the six Mauvians hold the mugs and absorb the heat, converting it into energy.
