Nuh and Yoh sunbathe in the middle of the white grass by the river as some of the other girls splash around in the water. All the Mauvian girls are wearing white swimsuits and bikinis.
"Too bad Summer is almost over," Yoh says. "We'll have to make sure we're paired up before Winter starts."
"Maybe we can get a house together!" Nuh says. "We could huddle side-by-side with Tek and Han."
"So long as you don't feel awkward about me and Tek touching each other intimately," Yoh jokes, reminding Nuh of how she felt last Winter.
"I'll be too busy touching with Han to really notice," Nuh giggles as she jokes back.
The girls share a laugh as a friend of theirs walks up from out of the river.
"Hey Yoh, Nuh" the girl says, her wet, fuschia colored skin glistening in the sunlight.
"Hey Res," Nuh greets. "What is it?"
"I heard you two talking about Winter accomodations. Do you know where you're staying?"
"Not yet," Yoh answers. "But I hope we get the same house as last time, it had such a big fire place!"
"Oh yeah," Res says, "you were lucky enough to get Amor Shack. Hey, when Winter comes around, can you let me and my sister, Dis, stay with you? It'll be her first Socializing Winter, and I don't want her getting stuck with strangers."
"Not a problem!" Nuh answers. "The more people there are, the more heat is produced."
"Thank you so much!" Res says as she hurries back to the river.
