Free Play

Since you have a Free Play, you decide to play your 13 of Klork, forcing Blackfire to play either a 13 of Pinbar, or a G'blindos.

"Very good," she says, "you're learning to play like me!"

You stick out your tongue teasingly as Raven plays another G'blindos, of the Klork suit.

"Crud," you say. Your G'blindos, also of Klork, can not beat it. "I have to pass."

Blackfire plays her Pinbar G'blindos, forcing Raven to play her Double Ones.

"No doubles left in my hand," you say.

"Or mine," Blackfire answers.

Raven uses her Free Play to put down her 11 of Gablurniff. Now is the one time your G'blindos is the only card you can beat.

You play the G'blindos of Klork, and watch Blackfire.

"I pass," she says calmly.

Raven plays her G'blindos of Pinbar, and you are forced to pass. Blackfire passes, too, so her G'blindos must be of Gablurniff.

"I have to pass," you say.

Blackfire plays her G'blindos of Gablurniff, and Raven is forced to pass, as are you.

With her Free Play, Blackfire puts down a 9 of Klork.

"Pass," both Raven and you say.

Blackfire puts down a 6 of Klork, and Raven plays a 7. You play an 8 of Pinbar, and look at Blackfire's last card. Is it strong enough to win?

"G'blindos Y'nerbleck!!" she shouts, playing her 10 of Pinbar and shouting the victory phrase.

Everyone cheers, then you and Raven collect the cards.

"So, does the winner want to continue on to the next round?" Beastboy asks.

"No thanks," she says. "Stafire or Flashfire can play next round to help you remember the rules."

You and Blackfire get up, moving to the couch. Raven joins you as Starfire, Beastboy, and Cyborg sit down to play, Robin and Flashfire watching over their shoulders.
