You sit on the bed closest to the door and eat a juicy steak.

"So you all have been traveling together like this for how long now?" Lilium asks.

"Blackfire and I have been traveling together for about a month," you answer, "if I'm counting the days right."

"I think that's about right," Blackfire says.

"I'vb been wiff dem for the last coupla daysz," Flashfire says, bits of noodles still in her mouth.

You spend the next few hours reminiscing, telling Lilium all about your adventures with Blackfire and the other girls.

When story time is over, the five of you go to sleep, Nuh snuggling between you and Blackfire for warmth. You play with their grebnaks for a bit, the two of them giggling as they tell you to stop.

Morning comes quickly, and the five of you hurry to the dome. You all get dressed back stage, and line up wth your divisions. Jin Jah sneers at you from his place near the front, while Y'Tar ad his sisters ignore everyone else.

"We shall now decide the opening match ups via a random number draw. Numbers shall be paired up, #1 with #2, 3 with 4, and so on."

You pay attention solely to Y'Tar and one of his sisters as they draw first for their divisions. They get 7 and 4, respectively. Y'Tar's other sister and Jin Jah Vai Tus are next, and they get 1 and 2, respectively.

By the time you're up, Flashfire has drawn her number, and Blackfire is about to draw hers.
