On to Earth!

Once fed, you start to fly back up.

"Saffire, wait!" Blackfire calls. "Do we have to go?"

"Yes," you call back. "We should get going to Earth so your sister can be part of the wedding!"

"But I don't want to have a wedding!" she protests.

"What do you mean you don't want--"

"I don't mean I refuse to marry you," she interrupts. "I just... Aren't you rushing it? We're not even full adults yet!"

"Blackfire," you say, "that's what the aach-chas mean, don't they? You and I love each other so much that we want to be together forever."

"But does that mean we have to have a wedding?" she counters. "Maybe we don't need a ceremony to say that you and I will always be together, because I know we will!"

"Awww," Flashfire says. "That's so sweet..."

"Blackfire," you say, "earlier today, you wanted a wedding, didn't you?"

"Well, I changed my mind."

"Well, I still think we should have some kind of ceremony," you say. "I don't want you one day regretting that we didn't do something special."

You hold Blackfire in your arms, and look her in the eyes.

"And perhaps wedding ceremonies are there not because you need to say 'we're together forever,' but because you WANT to say it, and you want the WHOLE universe to know it."

Blackfire's purple eyes shine in the sunlight as she looks up into your bright blue ones.

"I... I guess we can have my sister at it, too."

"YAAAY!" Flashfire cheers. "I get to meet my OTHER sister-to-be after all!"

*WHOOSH* Flashfire flies up into the sky.

"Come on, bride and groom!" she shouts. "We gotta get to Earth!"

Hand in hand, you and Blackfire catch up to your sister, and the three of you continue to Earth.
