Study the Tape

"Semi-Final Round will begin later tonight," the head attendant announces, "plenty of time to rest up, eat, and watch the airings of these bouts on the television, which will start an hour from now. Check listings for when your fights will be on."

You walk around to find the girls, and see that Flashfire and Lilium move pretty easy, They must have advanced with ease, much like you did. Blackfire and Nuh come back, Blackfire limping a bit while Nuh has a bruise on her stomach and a scratch on her cheek.

"Whoa, what happened to you two?"

"V'Bar and L'l'l'lo happened," Blackfire grumbles. "Let's get back to our hotel to rest."

You help both girls make it back to the hotel.

Flashfire grabs the remote and turns on the television.

"The first fights that are airing all involve our next opponents," she says to you and Blackfire. "Which one should we watch?"

"If Blackfire had problems with one," you say, "she'll need to make sure the other Gergerglock girl isn't the stronger one."

"I don't need help preparing!" Blackfire insists.

"Then we all imagined you limping?" Flashfire teased.

Blackfire glares at your sister, but you calm her.

"This could also help me in the long run," you tell her. "If V'Mar and V'Bar fight like their brother, this will give me a heads up on Y'Tar."

"But you should be preparing for Jin Jah Vai Tus first," Lilium says. "He's your next opponent."

"I don't think he needs to worry." Nuh asks. "He doesn't seem that tough."

"True, but he still won his fight," Blackfire says. "We should at least see how."

Blackfire sits down, and you think. The matches will start soon.

"I know," you say. "See if the television can do split screen!"

Flashfire checks the remote, and presses a button. Half the television is set to the G'quopa Division Channel, and half to the Middleweight channel!

"There we go!"

*DING DING DING* the bell rings from the television speakers.
