"Flashfire!" you shout. "Back to the mountain!"
Flashfire takes off, Obsidian riding on her back.
*ZAP ZAP* You fire lazer beams at the wheels of the vehicles, popping the front two of one, and only the right front of the other.
You swing Obsidian's cousin around to your back, her arms holding increasingly tight.
*WHOOSH* You take off after Flashfire as the Hunters hurry to fix their vehicles.
It takes you a minute to make it back to the mountain. Flashfire and Obsidian arrived before you, and announce your arrival.
Blackfire hugs you as you land, and Obsidian hugs his cousin.
"Agate!" he cries. "I missed you!"
"I did, too, Obsidian," she says, kneeling to hug him. Like all Shadowans, her hair glows white, and she has completely yellow eyes. He skirt and top are a bit tattered, but she is still wearing white socks.
"We're headed back," you say. "So we can destroy their vehicles."
"Then I'm going with you this time," Blackfire says.
"And me, too!" Onyx says. "I need to find out from the Hunters if they've seen my parents."
"Alright," you say. "In which case, Obsidian and Agate will stay up here with Nuh and Foxy. And don't light any fires."
"OK," Foxy replies.
Onyx wraps her arms around Blackfire's neck, and *WHOOSH* they take off.
*WHOOSH WHOOSH* you and Flashfire take off after them.
"Blackfire," Flashfire asks, "are you sure you should carry Onyx?"
"Yes, I'm sure," Blackfire answers. "Because it is a logical set up. Saffire is our strongest, so he must not be hindered. And seeing as how you are the weakest, you need to be able to escape fastest, so you must also be unhindered."
"But, you're hindering yourself, then, aren't you?" you ask Blackfire.
"Not at all," she answers. "I've carried far heavier. Remember when I told you I stole something from Transgression?"
"Yes."
"That something was a Poborion Flux Generator. I carried it all by myself and still got away from him." (NOTE: Poborion Flux Generators are 1000lbs, 10ft long, and an original idea of mine)
You can see one of the vehicles rumbling its way towards teh mountain, its large flashlights dead giveaways. The Hunters must have fixed the wheels.
