A catchy rock song plays, and you decide to get up and dance. You take Blackfire by the hand, and you join the other teen aliens on the "dance floor", which is just a big open space behind the couches.
Of course, dancing to rock is really just jumping and shaking your hair, as Blackfire and a few other long-haired females display.
You jump around a bit yourself, bobbing your head to a steady rhythm.
The song ends, but quickly switches to another rock song, and the crowd of alien teens continues to bounce around.
Blackfire bounces close, that purple swimsuit of hers letting her grebnaks bounce a little, and takes your hands in her. The two of you bounce and jump together, shaking your heads, her purple hair flying around, gently lashing you in the face. You can't help but smile.
When the second song ends, there is a short pause as the jumping teens catch their breath.
You use the pause to get away and sit down on the couch.
"Lue," Blackfire calls, using your false name, "stay and dance with me!"
"I can't, I'm tired!" you say. "But you can keep dancing and stuff."
Blackfire walks away from the dance floor and sits on your lap.
"No, it would be boring without you."
Song #3 starts, and some of the males start knocking into each other on purpose.
"MOSH PIT!!" Radian shouts, and all the males start knocking into each other. They spend the entire song hitting each other shoulder to shoulder.
When the mosh pit settles down, Boit gets up on a table and shouts, "The pool. Is. Filled!!"
The guests file out of the den in a hurry, headed down the hallway, exiting out a back door.
