"Well, then..." you say as you consider what to do. "Blackfire, what do you want to do?"
Blackfire looks around, looking at the large trees of the Arborio forest, and at the Woburgins' ship.
"I guess we could stay here with these two," she finally says. "Y'know, to keep them company."
You and Blackfire head off into the forest, leaving the Woburgin twins to set up their camp.
The Arborio sun is still shining bright, and light and shadow dance with the breeze. You and Blackfire step over large roots that are as thick as your legs, and jump over tiny creeks and streams. Blackfire leads the way the whole time, but neither of you know where you're going.
You two come to a large opening where there are no trees. The opening is not quite a circle, but it is round. And because there are no trees within the space, it is completely bathed in sunlight. However, there are several red-and-yellow flowers scattered in the opening.
Blackfire takes you by the hand and pulls you towards the flower filled opening. The two of you move into the small field of fiery colored flowers, but you are a bit reluctant. It smells really nice. Probably the flowers.
"I wonder what made this big space," you say, your voice a bit hushed by the sight of the red-and-yellow flowers brightly contrasting with the deep green grass.
"Are you my boyfriend or my bumgorf?" she teases.
(NOTE: bumgorf = something that needs to be taken care of, whether it be a child or a pet, just as K'norfka is something that takes care of another)
"Because if you're the latter, then don't worry, I'm here to protect you in case something bad happens." She smiles a teasing smile, and you sneer at her.
"But still, you gotta wonder, too." You look around. The opening looks much bigger from the inside than the outside. A ship could've made a gap this big, but why would anyone land inside a forest? Perhaps a big beast with horns to rip out the trees, roots and all...
Blackfire spins around, then sits down in the middle of the flowers. She sniff some, and laughs.
"They smell sweet, yet spicy at the same time."Blackfire picks out some tall ones, and ties their stems into loops. She puts one on on each wrist, and raps a few around her neck. "You like my new jewelry?" she asks, smiling and giggling.
"Yes I do," you reply, feeling a little giddy yourself.
