"What...?"
"Carry me!" she orders. You groan, but do as she wishes. You walk back, lift her onto your shoulders, and carry her over to the birds.
"I didn't mean like this!" she complains.
"Hush!"
You make your way over to the two birds, who are still glaring at each other.
"Why are you two fighting?" you ask them. "Is it because you both want the tree for yourself?"
The birds do not respond, they only glare at each other.
"Maybe it's because they're different?" Blackfire says. At this, the two birds bellow and hoot repeatedly.
"So that's why? Because of your colors?"
More hooting and bellowing.
"You two are just like us and our people," you say.
The birds stop making noises. They look away from each other, and look at you.
"You two may have different colors, and you may say different things, but from what I can tell, you two are the same kind of bird!"
The two birds hoot and bellow in protest.
"No, I'm not wrong! Your beaks, your wings, your tails, are the same shape and length!"
The two birds look at each other, really look at each other, and see that you are right. They have the same pointy cone shaped beaks, all four wings have 5 long feathers at the end, like fingers, and that they have the same fan-like tails."You are both Sweetzor birds," you say, "even though one is gray and the other is rainbow, just as I and Blackfire are both Tamaranian, even though I have blue hair and she has black!"
The birds look at you, then at each other, and hoot and bellow happily together. The two fly up into the air and back to the tree as friends.
