Are we there yet?

Hours have past, but you two are no where even close to Earth.

"How far is this place?!" you ask.

"The Milky Way is pretty far from here, we'll be there maybe... Tomorrow?"

"WHAT?!" If you had known how damn far away this planet was, you would've hijacked a small shuttle or something.

"Don't worry," she says. "Look!" She points to a ship approaching from the right. "We can sneak aboard that and get food for the trip!"

"Alright, we'll get food from them, but no more than we can fit in my bag!"

You and Blackfire slow down and dive down below the ship's horizontal plane. You then fly up and move along the ship's bottom. You find a special maintenance entrance, which probably leads to the machinery that makes the ship work. Blackfire popped the entrance open and entered, then you closed the hatch as you follow.

You find yourself in an airlock chamber. You and Blackfire fumble around for a moment, and soon found a button. You pressed it, and *WHOOSH* oxygen entered the chamber. Blackfire popped the other hatch open, and you two slipped into the next room.

As you had guessed, it was the engine room. Giant pistons were pumping and gears were turning, and a giant plasma coil was sizzling and buzzing as it emitted an eerie yellow light. You heard someone else walking, heavy metal footsteps clanking and clonking.

You looked around. You could see the engineer's shadow cast along the ground. They were about to come around the corner and see you!
